How it
works?
CoolSculpting® is a non-surgical procedure. The duration of a treatment depends on the number of applications, and can vary from 35 minutes to 1.25 hours per application. The nurse will mark the area to be treated and make you comfortable. Under the effect of suction, skin and fat are drawn into the applicator. You may feel tugging, pulling and mild pinching during the first minute of treatment but these sensations disappear quickly.
The fat cells are cooled to a controlled temperature, which will kill them naturally without altering the surrounding tissues (reduction of the thickness of the fat layer by up to 27%). Lipids in fat cells crystallize at a higher temperature than water in other cell types. After treatment, the fat cells degrade and gradually die. It is the body’s immune system that will naturally break them down and then eliminate them permanently.
During your session, you will be able to enjoy the comfort of our dedicated private lounge to relax, watch an episode of your favourite TV show, or work. At the end of the session, massaging the treated area will relax the tissues and improve the resorption of fat by the body in the weeks following the treatment.

Patients may begin to see an improvement in the treated area a few weeks after their treatment, but it may take up to four months before they enjoy their full and final results.
