How it
works?
During a chemical peel, we cleanse the skin and apply the exfoliating agent evenly over the treatment area. While you sit back and relax, you may begin to feel active ingredients working to remove the outermost layers of the skin. Depending on the strength of your peel, you may feel a tingling sensation that lasts about five to ten minutes. After the chemical peel, we may use cool compresses to remove the remaining exfoliant and wash the area once again. A soothing set of products, as well as a medical grade sunscreen will then be applied to your freshly renewed skin. This procedure does not require any long recovery time.
What it treats
Results
You will notice an immediate shine to your skin after your treatment. Your skin may appear slightly pink for a few hours before experiencing some tighteness which may last for several days. Not all patients experience skin flaking, but this may be seen 2-3 days after your treatment. Finally, about 5-6 days following your treatment, your final results will reveal a luminous, more even complexion that looks youthful and very refreshed.
